CURRENT CAREER OBJECTIVE: To find freelance video editing work

 

​Work Experience

 

- I spent three days at Work Editorial (https://www.workeditorial.tv/) shadowing a runner and assistant editor.

​

- I spent a day at True North Post (https://www.truenorthpost.tv/) learning from an offline editor.I was a runner for a week on the feature film (Vincefilms, 2021). I also helped out as boom operator.

​

- I edited three films on Avid as part of the National Film and TV School’s Editing MA selection workshop. I was down to the final 18.

​

Editing Experience

​

- I’ve edited several films on Avid Media Composer, Davinci Resolve and Premier Pro.

 

- I’ve written and edited 40 video essays on Philosophy, Mindfulness and Self-Help. One of those videos has 1,200,000 views.

​

Education

 

- I graduated from York University with a BSc (2:1) in Film and TV Production

 

- I completed a summer course at Aarhus University called ‘Visual Media Production: Making Short Fiction Films’. I received a B for the short film I edited.

 

- I have completed Avid Fundamentals 101 in LinkedIn Learning

 

- At Newcastle Sixth Form College (Westmorland Rd, Newcastle upon Tyne NE4 7SA), I received an A* in Media Studies and English Literature, and an A in Film Studies for A Level

 

- At Berwick Academy (Berwick-upon-Tweed TD15 2DL), I received two 8s, five 7s and one 6 at GCSE level.
